Newspaper ads are a popular way for businesses to promote their products or services.
But a recent ad from Nespapers.com shows a man at a computer with an iPad and a laptop.
The ad, which ran in New York City on Monday, was a response to the company’s ad campaign last week that featured the two men talking about their work together.
Nespapers is taking criticism for the ad, but the ad’s creator says he is trying to make the ad more meaningful and that it was meant to be a “fun moment for us.”
He added that he is not happy with the ad.
“I think we’ve done the right thing, but I feel bad about it,” said Matt Fritsch, who created the ad and is the creative director at Nespaedia, the company behind the ad campaign.
“I’m glad we did it because I think it’s a great way to get the word out to the community.”
Nespaper.com says the ad was meant as a “sad commentary on the current state of technology, but we also wanted to bring a little bit of humor into the mix.”
Fritsch says the company is going to make changes in the ad to make it more humorous.
He also said that the ad will continue to run across the Nespapeams site.
